CLAREMONT QUARTER Fashion Film Festival is excited to announce its 2016 Perth season.
Celebrating the chic and timeless collaboration of fashion and film, the Festival will two seasons of chic fashion celluloid in 2016, giving fashionistas and film addicts the rare opportunity to experience some of the most stylish movies ever made on the silver screen.
Our Perth home is The Backlot, a purpose built 50-seat private cinema, nestled between Northbridge and Leederville, on the outskirts of Perth’s CBD. A stunning mural of Heath Ledger painted by Archibald Prize winning artist Vincent Fantauzzo, looks over a beautifully appointed bar and lounge space. Festival guests will go weak at the knees for the 7.4m x 4.2m silver screen, Dolby Digital 7.1 sound, and adore the luxurious leather seats within this state-of-the-art cinema.
About Elizabeth Clarke,
Elizabeth Clarke has styled and written about fashion for over twenty years. In the early days, she fetched coffee for fashion scribe Plum Sykes at British Vogue, pinned dresses on Princess Diana at The Chelsea Design Co., and pressed Steve Irwin’s khakis for The Discovery Channel’s The Crocodile Hunter. She has styled dozens of television commercials including Mercedes Benz (Europe), Hutchison Mobile (Hong Kong), Ahura Resorts (Fiji), and talked all things stylish on the Nine and Seven Networks.
Elizabeth has hosted exclusive fashion showings nationally for Burberry, Bulgari and Gucci, and run roadshows for multi-brand retailers Robby Ingham and Belinda Seper. She has co-hosted product launches with Donna Hay, Miranda Kerr, Megan Gale and Sex and the City’s Candace Bushnell, and presented styling workshops for QueensPlaza (Brisbane), Claremont Quarter (Perth) and Myer, David Jones and Westfield nationally.
Elizabeth penned the popular Style Counsel column for The Courier Mail’s Qweekend Magazine for six years, and has written features stories for ELLE (Australia) and Studio Bambini. She is a regular contributor to Grazia (international), The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age and The West Australian newspaper and its magazines.
She currently resides near the beach in her adopted home city of Perth with her husband, children, dogs and beloved collection of Saint Laurent shoes.
